It’s that time of year again when Casa De Fruta (just outside of Gilroy, California) steps back in time as the annual Northern California Renaissance Faire transforms this famous tourist stop into Willington, a fantasy village from the late Middle Ages.

Come experience an era when fun and frivolity ruled the day. Stroll through the village of Willington where hawkers sell their wares to passersby, music and theater entertain nonstop, and medieval fare tempt the hearty appetites of knights and wenches alike. To thoroughly enjoy your experience, all patrons are welcome to dress Renaissance style (although certainly not required). And if your Venetian mask is lost during your travels, or your cape and pouch stolen by bandits, you can always rent a costume at the Faire inside the gates from Belrose Costumes who offer a wide range of outfits for children and adults.
